Hey y'all! I'm Katelyn King!

When I was a young girl, I would visit my grandparents' house, and the only thing I ever wanted to do was look at all of their photos. I would look back on their pictures from the 50s, 60s, all the way to pictures to the present, imagining what they were feeling and doing exactly when that image was captured. Because of my love of LOOKING at pictures, I started taking pictures of everything, which led to my mom buying me my first DSLR camera. I literally took pictures of everyone and anytime I could. I started posting those pictures on Facebook and it turned into a business by accident.

I love what I do. It's amazing to think that what started out as just a hobby and passion of mine, quickly developed into a full-time business, and for that, I am so very thankful. I've been doing this now for over 10 years. Its getting SO cool to grow with my clients. SO MANY of my clients I've been given the privilege to watch them be seniors in high school, get engaged, get married, and now start families!!! Its the BIGGEST blessing and one of the MANY MANY REASONS I LOVE MY JOB!!!! Many of my clients have prayed for me through infertility. Prayed for me during my miracle pregnancy and prayed for me during all of my miscarriages. My returning clients feel like FAMILY to me.

I love life. I love joy. I love laughter. So know, if you book with me, we will be laughing a lot! I love capturing authentic moments and having fun while doing it! I love Jesus, and I know that it is all because of Him that I am able to take pictures and have this business. He has provided me with amazing clients, who I am able to connect with through shared life experiences. A lot of my clients become friends to me!

I am married to the love of my life, Forrest, and we live in the Atlanta area. We are both small business owners so life is crazy around here!! He owns his own HVAC business (Air King Mechanical) and I am SO proud of him!!! We struggled with infertility for a couple of years which then led us to adoption. God graciously gave us our daughter Ruby Jean. Shortly after bringing her home we got pregnant with our son Mack and after 6 recurrent miscarriages, God worked a MIRACLE and I literally had the most perfect pregnancy with no issues. Our family reminds me all the time of Gods faithfulness and His sovereignty over our lives. Being a mama has been the sweetest gift to me other than my salvation. We have two cats and one dog! I am an avid coffee drinker and a recovering sweet tea addict, and I will most likely have one of those in my hand when I show up for your session. I love the mountains and that could be because I graduated from the University of North Georgia so for four years of my life I got to live in the mountains and it was a DREAM COME TRUE! I also was a hair stylist for 8 years before I literally took a leap of faith back in 2019 and I've been doing photography ever since. Im still walking on that leap of faith!!!!!
